Mr. Donald McClymont serves as our Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for formulating our strategic vision, ensuring execution to our business plans and creating shareholder value.
Prior to co-founding indie, he was a Vice President of Marketing at Axiom Microdevices tasked with driving company strategy, developing sales engagements and building key industry partnerships. Prior to Axiom, he was a Product Line Director at Skyworks/Conexant and a Marketing Manager at Fujitsu. Previously, he was with Thesys, now Xfab/Melexis, and Wolfson, now Cirrus Logic, as a design engineer.
Mr. McClymont holds 5 patents worldwide and earned a Masters in Engineering Electronics and Electrical from the University of Glasgow.

Dr. Scott Kee is indie’s Chief Technology Officer with responsibility for all of our strategic product development and roadmap alignment. Prior to co-founding indie, Dr. Kee was Chief Technology Officer at Axiom Microdevices, another company he co-founded, which was subsequently sold to Skyworks Solutions.
Dr. Kee has developed 35 patents worldwide. He earned his Ph.D from the California Institute of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Delaware.

Mr. Thomas Schiller serves as our Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Strategy. In this role, he leads all corporate financing, reporting, investor relations, treasury, tax and M&A activities. Prior to joining us in October 2019, Mr. Schiller was Vice President of Marketing at Marvell Semiconductor and previously was Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Skyworks Solutions.
Mr. Schiller earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Southern California with specialization in Entrepreneurship and Finance and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with emphasis in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Irvine. In addition, Mr. Schiller has completed executive education programs at the University of California, Los Angeles and at Suffolk University, Boston.
Audrey Wong

Ms. Wong serves as our Chief Legal Officer with responsibility for all legal matters worldwide, including corporate governance and securities law compliance, intellectual property, and commercial transactions. Ms. Wong also serves as our corporate secretary.
Throughout her career, Ms. Wong has advised leading technology companies on a variety of legal matters. Prior to joining us in July 2022, Ms. Wong oversaw the corporate, M&A, regulatory, corporate compliance, employment and privacy legal teams at Xilinx Inc. as Corporate Vice President. Prior to that, she held various positions for the corporate legal team at Salesforce.com including assistant general counsel, corporate and securities. Ms. Wong began her legal career at a private practice in Silicon Valley specializing in corporate law.
Ms. Wong holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and a Juris Doctorate from University of San Francisco. She is also a member of the California State Bar.

Dr. Ichiro Aoki serves as our President and as a Board Member of indie Semiconductor. He works closely with our executive team and Board to create, update and manage execution of the Company’s strategies and technical roadmaps.
Prior to co-founding indie, Dr. Aoki was a Co-founder, Board Member and Chief Architect of Axiom Microdevices which was subsequently sold to Skyworks Solutions. Previously, Dr. Aoki founded and served as co-CEO of PST Eletronica Ltda in Brazil which was later sold to Stoneridge, Inc.
Dr. Aoki has developed 35 patents worldwide and has authored numerous IEEE papers with two of them with over 400 citations.
He is fluent in Japanese, Portuguese and English.
Dr. Aoki holds a Ph.D and Masters in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Campinas.
He serves as a California Institute of Technology Electrical Engineering Advisory Council Member and is also a California Institute of Technology Space-based Solar Power Project (SSPP) Scientific Advisory Board Member.

Mr. Abhay Rai is our Chief Product Officer at indie Semiconductor and is responsible for overseeing the strategic alignment, development, and management of all of indie’s product lines. Mr. Rai previously held the position of Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Vision business unit and has been a leader in expanding the Company’s sensing portfolio through accelerated internal development and inorganic growth.
Mr. Rai previously held the position of Executive Vice President and General Manager of indie’s Vision business unit and has been a leader in expanding indie’s sensing portfolio through accelerated internal development, complemented with inorganic growth. Prior to joining indie in January 2021, Mr. Rai was the Global Vice President of Product Marketing for Visteon, responsible for new product development, introduction, and expansion into the automotive electronics and electrification market. Mr. Rai has previously held senior product marketing and commercial positions at automotive sensor leaders Sony and Aptina (which was acquired by Onsemi).
Mr. Rai earned his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University, and an Executive MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.

Mr. Michael Wittmann is our Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for expanding and optimizing the Company’s global supply chain, managing manufacturing engineering functions and information technology functions, and overseeing day-to-day operations.
Mr. Wittmann previously held the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager of indie’s Power business unit, responsible for business execution, product definition and portfolio planning. Prior to joining indie in March 2021, he was with Intel, serving in a variety of senior and General Manager roles in wireless connectivity. Before Intel, Mr. Wittmann held senior marketing and business development positions with Infineon technologies, including Director of Automotive Power Modules at International Rectifier (which was acquired by Infineon).
Mr. Wittmann received a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Germany.

Ms. Samar Aoun is our Vice President of Quality and is responsible for managing several quality functions including quality management systems, supplier and customer quality, product quality and reliability, and functional safety.
Prior to joining indie in May 2021, Ms. Aoun was supplier quality manager at Melexis. Prior to that, she was the quality and reliability engineering manager at Intel from 2011 to 2018 supporting the modem products division. In addition, she had a 10-year career at Infineon Technologies where she held various positions including quality manager and project office manager.
Ms. Aoun received a master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Institut Superieur d’Electronique du Nord (ISEN Lille) in France. She also holds a European Quality Manager diploma from the European Organization of Quality (EOQ Paris).

Mr. Babla is our Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing, responsible for expanding the Company’s Tier 1 and automotive OEM customer base as well as supporting product roadmap development.
Mr. Babla has worked in the technology industry for over 25 years in a variety of technical and commercial roles, starting his career as an analog chip designer. He most recently served as Vice President of Arm’s Automotive Line of Business where he led a team focused on delivering the processing technology required for automotive applications including powertrain, digital cockpit, ADAS and autonomous driving. Prior to Arm, Mr. Babla has held multiple senior roles in the semiconductor industry and has also advised the UK government on its ICT trade and investment strategy.
Mr. Babla holds a first-class degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from The University of Huddersfield, UK, and has completed multiple executive leadership programs, including at the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley.

Mr. Bal is our Chief Accounting Officer, leading accounting and finance operations, and works closely with our Chief Financial Officer to oversee financial reporting, tax, global treasury and internal control activities. From January 2020 to December 2022, Mr. Bal served as Senior Vice President – Finance and Controller of indie. Prior to joining indie in January 2020, Mr. Bal served as Operating Partner and Chief Financial Officer for True North Venture Partners and its wholly-owned portfolio companies from October 2017 and December 2019 and as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for GT Advanced Technologies from January 2014 and October 2017. Previously, Mr. Bal served as Corporate Controller and Treasurer for Skyworks Solutions, where he held various finance roles with increasing responsibility. He also has held finance positions with Lucent Technologies and Ernst & Young.
Mr. Bal holds a CPA accounting designation, a Master of Management Analytics from Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management.

Mr. Joseph Damato is our Executive Vice President and General Manager of indie’s System Solutions business unit, with responsibility for expanding the application of the Company’s innovative and growing portfolio of automotive semiconductor solutions. This effort is based on his team’s creation of system-level reference designs and the provision of advanced electrical, software, and validation engineering support to customers.
Prior to joining us in March 2021, he was a Managing Director of Data Connectivity at Delphi Corporation (now Aptiv), a global business created when Delphi acquired Unwired Technology in 2014. Before its acquisition by Delphi in 2014, Mr. Damato served as the CEO of Unwired Technology and indie’s first customer serving the Automotive OEM market. Prior to joining Unwired, Mr. Damato served as Vice President of Consumer Electronics at Delphi and in multiple global product management roles for Bose Corporation, where he led teams in both companies that created and launched numerous consumer products, many of which became market-firsts due to their innovative technical benefits and highly differentiated designs.
Mr. Damato is a former Board Member of the Automotive Electronics Division of the Consumer Electronics Association. He holds four U.S. patents and received his Bachelor’s from Loyola University of Chicago.

Mr. Mathieu Drolet is Executive Vice President of indie and President of TeraXion, an indie Semiconductor company, focusing on the design and manufacturing of innovative, high-end optical components.
Mr. Drolet joined TeraXion in 2017 and held various roles at the company over the years, including VP of Engineering and Operations, Director of Engineering, and Program Manager of the Laser and Integrated Photonics division. Prior to TeraXion, Mr. Drolet was Engineering Manager at ESI from 2011 to 2017, and Researcher at INO from 2002 to 2011.
Mr. Drolet holds a Master’s and Bachelors in Physics from Laval University.

Mr. Darshan Gopal is our VP of Operations Engineering at indie Semiconductor. He joined us in June 2016 and is responsible for strategic planning, new product introduction, and team leadership to ensure that our engineering activities align with the organization’s overall goals and objectives. Additionally, he oversees our global foundry network as well as backend assembly, packaging, and test suppliers.
Prior to joining indie, Mr. Gopal worked at Broadcom Corporation where he was recognized with the President’s award for his contributions in launching the company’s first wearable/IoT products ahead of schedule.
Mr. Gopal holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Binghamton University, SUNY and earned his undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communication at Visveswaraya Technological University, Bengaluru, India.

Mr. Lionel Federspiel is our Executive Vice President of Engineering and responsible for managing our IC design from system concept to production release. Specifically, he oversees analog and digital IC design, program management, CAD/EDA, test and validation as well as firmware/software development.
Prior to joining indie in September 2014, he was Director of Systems Design at Broadcom and previously held senior engineering roles at STMicroelectronics and Infineon.
Mr. Federspiel holds 2 patents and earned a Masters in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University. He also completed post graduate work in Microelectronic Systems and Components at Ecole centrale de Lyon and achieved a Master in Sciences in Electrical Engineering from INSA Lyon – Institut National des Sciences Appliquees de Lyon.

Mr. Felando is our Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources and is responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s strategic HR programs and policies in compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, employee relations and development as well as DE&I. Mr. Felando was the Vice President, Human Resources at Karma Automotive LLC, where he developed key programs in talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and various HR policies. Before that role, he was Vice President, Human Resources and CHRO for QLogic until September 2014 and previously was Senior Director, Human Resources for Skyworks Solutions.
Mr. Felando holds a master’s in human resource studies from Cornell University and received his bachelor’s in industrial and organizational psychology from Occidental College.

Dr. Peter Gulden, Executive Vice President of indie Semiconductor’s Radar Systems and Software, is responsible for the technical and commercial growth of ie’s exterior and interior radar sensing portfolio, including silicon, software, system and algorithmic engineering.
Dr. Gulden was formerly Senior Vice President of indie’s Radar Systems and Software business unit and Managing Director of Symeo, an indie Semiconductor company. He joined indie in January 2022, via the acquisition of Analog Device’s Radar Systems Group, where Dr. Gulden was the Engineering Director for automotive and industrial radar systems. Previously, Dr. Gulden was Chief Technology Officer for Symeo (which was acquired by Analog Devices), a leader in radar sensor technology for automotive and industrial markets. He started his career at Siemens, where he led the research and product development for radar and LiDAR systems.
Dr. Gulden earned his Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University and earned his Doctorate in Engineering and Electronics Communication Technology from The University of Siegen, Germany.

Mr. Paul Hollingworth is our Chief of Staff, reporting to our CEO, responsible for various management, strategic, and deputizing tasks. Prior to this, Mr. Hollingworth was Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for indie, leading our global sales and marketing activities including product definition and channel management. Previous to joining us in October 2013, he was Vice President of Strategic Sales at eSilicon. Before that he managed a product division at Altera and held senior roles at Thesys (now Xfab) and LSI Logic.
Mr. Hollingworth holds both a Masters of Engineering in Microelectronics and a Bachelors in Science in Physics and Electronics from University of Durham, UK.

Mr. David Kang is a co-founder and Engineering Fellow at indie Semiconductor. He helps to set our strategic direction, develop product roadmaps and provide guidance on all engineering activities. Previously, Mr. Kang was Vice President of Engineering at Axiom Microdevices and was a Co-Founder of WIT, later acquired by Chrontel. Prior to that, he was a Principal Staff Engineer at Motorola.
Mr. Kang holds 4 patents worldwide. He earned a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Mr. Vincent Wang is our Executive Vice President of Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing. He joined indie in October of 2015 and manages demand creation, distributor and key customer relationships as well as China operations and R&D. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Wang was Senior Marketing Director of the Wireless Business Unit at Atmel, post their acquisition of Newport Media where he was Vice President of APAC Sales and Marketing. Previously, he was a principal engineer at Broadcom and held various technical positions at Nortel, Xerox and Hitachi.
Mr. Wang holds 1 U.S. patent and graduated with a Masters in Computer Sciences from the University of Maryland Graduate School, Baltimore and a Bachelor of Sciences in Electrical Engineering from Feng Chia University, Taiwan.
